Two things ATSDR says that fairness requires reporting: the destruction of red blood cells (hemolysis) is documented in animal studies, and neither HHS, IARC, nor EPA has classified 2-butoxyethanol as to human carcinogenicity — no carcinogenicity studies in people or animals are available.
