Welcome to Ecolosophy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ecolosophy.com, our products, our free downloadable guides and PDFs, our emails, our courses, and all related content (together, the "Services"), operated by Ecolosophy ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Services, purchasing a product, or downloading any guide, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Educational & Informational Purpose Only
All content we provide — including our blog, free guides and PDFs, checklists, courses, emails, and product descriptions — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical, health, legal, scientific, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. We are not your physician, and using the Services does not create any professional relationship. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making decisions about your health, pregnancy, children, pets, allergies, or any medical condition, and never disregard professional advice because of something you read here.
2. No Guarantees; "As Is"
We work hard to make our content accurate and our products excellent, but the Services and all content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that any information is complete, current, or error-free, that results described or implied will be achieved, or that the Services will be uninterrupted or secure. Any reliance you place on our content is strictly at your own risk.
3. Product Use, Formulations & Dilution
Our products are cleaning products intended for household surface cleaning, used as directed. They are not food, medicine, cosmetics, or skin/personal-care products, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. You are responsible for reading and following all product labels, directions, dilution ratios, and safety instructions, for performing a spot test on delicate surfaces, for keeping products away from eyes, ingestion, children, and pets, and for confirming suitability for your specific surfaces, materials, and circumstances. Recipes, dilution suggestions, and "DIY" or substitution ideas in our guides are general suggestions only; you assume all risk for any formulation, mixture, dilution, or application you prepare or perform. Never mix our products, or any cleaning products, with bleach, ammonia, or other chemicals. Discontinue use and seek medical attention if you experience any adverse reaction.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ecolosophy and its owners, founders, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, health, property, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Services, any product, any guide or PDF, any content, any error, omission, inaccuracy, or any decision or action you take based on them — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the specific product giving rise to the claim in the six (6) months before the event, or (b) US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
5. Assumption of Risk & Release
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with using the Services, our products, and our content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and discharge Ecolosophy and its owners, founders, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, our products, our guides or other content, or any error or omission in them, whether known or unknown.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ecolosophy and its owners, founders, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Services or products, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
7. Third-Party Sources & Links
Our content may cite or link to third-party studies, organizations, and websites for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, claims, or accuracy, and a link or citation is not an endorsement.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, guides, PDFs, text, graphics, logos, and the Ecolosophy name are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial license to use our free guides for your own household use. You may not resell, redistribute, or republish them without our written permission.
9. Orders, Pricing & Returns
Prices and availability may change without notice. We may refuse or cancel any order. Promotional codes and discounts are subject to their stated conditions and may be limited to first-time or eligible customers. Our returns and shipping practices are described on our Returns and Shipping pages.
10. Changes, Governing Law & Contact
We may update these Terms at any time; the "last updated" date reflects the current version, and continued use of the Services means you accept the changes. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
