Editorial, Content & Liability Disclaimer
Last updated: August 28, 2026
This page applies to everything Ecolosophy publishes, anywhere — this website, our blog, product and comparison pages, free guides and PDFs, courses and lessons, emails and SMS, quizzes and calculators, customer-support replies, podcasts, video, audio, webinars, live streams, interviews, press quotes, decks, and social media posts on any platform (together, the "Content").
It applies to Content published by Italo Campilii and by Ecolosophy's co-founders, owners, officers, members, employees, contractors, agents, editors, contributors, guests, partners, affiliates, and anyone writing, speaking, or appearing on Ecolosophy's behalf (together, the "Publishers"). It is incorporated into, and forms part of, our Terms of Service. Where this page and the Terms overlap, both apply; where they conflict, the reading that gives the broadest protection permitted by law applies.
1. Informational and Educational Purpose Only
All Content is general information and opinion, published for educational purposes. It is not medical, health, toxicological, veterinary, nutritional, scientific, legal, regulatory, tax, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation. No physician–patient, attorney–client, advisor–client, or other professional relationship is created by reading, watching, listening to, downloading, subscribing to, or replying to any Content. Always consult a qualified professional before acting — especially regarding health, pregnancy, infants and children, older adults, pets, allergies, asthma, immune conditions, or any medical condition — and never delay or disregard professional advice because of something we published.
2. Best Effort, Not a Guarantee of Accuracy
We research in good faith, cite public sources where we can, and fact-check our work before it goes out. Even so, human error and machine error both happen. Sources can be outdated, withdrawn, misread, mis-summarized, mistranslated, or wrong at the source. Formulations, labels, certifications, ownership, prices, and regulations change without notice, sometimes the day after we publish. Automated tools, spreadsheets, scripts, and AI assistants used in drafting or research can introduce mistakes that survive review.
All Content is therefore provided "as is" and "as available," with all faults and without warranties of any kind, express, implied, or statutory — including any implied warranty of accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that any statement is accurate, complete, or current, that any result described or implied will be achieved, or that Content is free of errors, omissions, or typographical mistakes. Any reliance you place on the Content is strictly at your own risk. We may change, correct, update, or remove any Content at any time without notice, and we have no obligation to update Content after publication.
3. AI-Assisted Production
We use software, automation, and AI tools to help research, draft, edit, translate, summarize, transcribe, format, and illustrate some Content, under human direction and review. These tools can produce output that is inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or fabricated, and our review process is not perfect. Treat every factual claim, statistic, citation, quotation, date, ingredient, and comparison as a starting point to verify against the primary source or the current product label — not as a settled fact.
4. Statements About Other Brands, Products & Companies
Some Content compares Ecolosophy with, or discusses, third-party brands, products, ingredients, retailers, certifications, and companies. Please read the following carefully.
- Independence and no affiliation. Ecolosophy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, authorized by, or otherwise connected to any third-party brand we mention, unless we expressly say so.
- Trademarks. All third-party names, logos, and marks are the property of their respective owners. We reference them only for identification, comparison, and commentary — nominative fair use. Their appearance does not imply any endorsement or association in either direction.
- Opinion, commentary, and fair comment. Statements about other products are our honest opinion, commentary, and criticism, based on publicly available information — such as manufacturer labels and websites, safety data sheets, ingredient databases, regulatory filings, published research, and news reports — believed accurate as of the date shown on the page. Words like "toxic," "safe," "clean," "natural," "green," "non-toxic," and "pet-safe" are used in their ordinary, non-technical, colloquial sense, not as regulatory classifications, legal conclusions, or accusations of unlawful conduct by any company.
- Snapshot in time. Comparisons reflect information available on the date of publication. Third-party formulations, labels, claims, certifications, packaging, ownership, and pricing change; a comparison may be out of date the moment it changes, and we may not know.
- No disparagement intended. Nothing we publish is intended to state or imply that any company or person has broken the law, acted dishonestly, or harmed anyone, or to disparage any business. If a reasonable reader could take something we wrote that way, it was unintended and we want to fix it — see Section 5.
- Verify before you act. Always read the current label and manufacturer information for any product, ours or anyone else's, before purchasing or using it.
5. Corrections, Notice & Takedown
We want our Content to be right, and we would rather correct an error than defend it. If you are a brand, company, researcher, or reader and you believe something we published is inaccurate, out of date, misattributed, unfair, or infringing, email [email protected] with the subject line "Correction Request," including the URL or post, the specific statement at issue, and the supporting source or documentation. We review every request in good faith and promptly correct, update, clarify, or remove Content we determine to be inaccurate or unfair.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to send that notice and allow us a reasonable opportunity to review and respond before commencing any claim, demand, complaint, or proceeding relating to the Content. This is our sole and preferred remedy process, and it is offered in place of, and not as an admission of, any liability. A correction, update, or removal is not an admission of fault, error, or wrongdoing by anyone.
6. Results, Testimonials & Earnings
Reviews, testimonials, before-and-after photos, case studies, and customer stories are individual experiences shared by real people. They are not typical, not promised, and not a guarantee that you will get the same result. Cost-per-use math, savings figures, "replaces X bottles" comparisons, and similar illustrations are estimates based on stated assumptions and normal dilution, and your actual results will vary with usage, surfaces, water, and habits. Any business, income, or earnings figure mentioned in our courses, guides, or partner, ambassador, wholesale, or affiliate materials is an illustration only, not a projection, promise, or guarantee of income.
7. Sponsorships, Affiliates & Material Connections
Ecolosophy sells the products it writes about, so assume a commercial interest in all Content. Some Content may include affiliate links, sponsored placements, gifted products, ambassador or influencer partnerships, or paid promotion; where required, we disclose those connections. Third-party links and citations are provided for convenience only — we do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, products, claims, data, or accuracy, and a link or citation is not an endorsement.
8. Forward-Looking & Investor-Related Statements
Content that discusses plans, launches, roadmaps, projections, markets, growth, or financial expectations is forward-looking and inherently uncertain; actual outcomes may differ materially, and we undertake no obligation to update any such statement. Nothing on this site or in any deck, interview, or post is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security, and nothing is investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Any offering, if one exists, would be made only through definitive documents to eligible parties.
9. Product Use & Safety
Our products are household cleaning products for surface cleaning, used as directed. They are not food, medicine, cosmetics, or personal-care products, are not EPA-registered disinfectants or antimicrobial pesticides, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. You are responsible for following all labels, dilution ratios, and safety directions, spot-testing delicate surfaces, keeping products away from eyes, ingestion, children, and pets, and confirming suitability for your surfaces and circumstances. Recipes, dilutions, and substitution ideas in our Content are general suggestions; you assume all risk for any mixture or application you prepare. Never mix any cleaning product with bleach, ammonia, or other chemicals. Discontinue use and seek medical attention if any adverse reaction occurs. Full product terms are in our Terms of Service.
10. User Submissions & Third-Party Comments
Reviews, comments, questions, social replies, and other material submitted by users, guests, or third parties reflect the views of the person who submitted them, not ours. We do not adopt, verify, or endorse third-party statements, and we are not responsible for them. We may edit, decline, or remove any submission at our discretion.
11. Assumption of Risk, Release & Waiver
You use the Content voluntarily and at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Ecolosophy and its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and each of their owners, founders, officers, members, managers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, editors, contributors, guests, and partners — including Italo Campilii personally — from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, suits, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees), of every kind, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, at law or in equity, arising out of or relating in any way to the Content, including claims based on error, omission, inaccuracy, negligence, negligent misrepresentation, product disparagement, trade libel, defamation, false light, unfair competition, or false or misleading advertising, and any decision or action you or anyone else takes based on the Content.
Claims are brought against Ecolosophy the business, not against any individual. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no owner, founder, officer, member, employee, contractor, contributor, or partner — including Italo Campilii — has any personal liability for any Content or for any obligation of Ecolosophy, and you agree not to name any of them individually in any claim or proceeding.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Publishers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, reputation, data, health, or property, arising out of or relating to the Content or your use of or inability to use it, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, statute, or any other theory, and even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Content will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the six (6) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you; in that case liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Publishers from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use or republication of the Content, your reliance on it, your violation of these disclaimers or our Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
14. Time Limit on Claims, Governing Law & Venue
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim relating to the Content must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred. These disclaimers are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida. Each party waives any objection to that venue. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions stay in full effect. Nothing here limits any right or remedy that cannot be limited under applicable law.
